Reston, VA – November 4, 2021

Golden Key Group (GKG), a professional services firm redefining workforce optimization, is proud to announce its Senior HR Consultant, Sandy Walter, has been recognized for her work and contributions at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Information Technology (CIT), in support of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

Ms. Walter received three separate awards within the Collaboration and Teamwork Award category, as a member of the CIT/OCIO Employee Engagement Program Team. The awards recognize Sandy’s outstanding accomplishments on the Employee Engagement Program Team, OnBoarding Team, and Pathways Intern Program Team. Andrea Norris, Director of CIT and Chief Information Officer at NIH, presented the awards to attendees today at the virtual 2021 CIT/OCIO Awards Ceremony.

“Behind every successful program we have are the incredibly talented people, like Sandy, who are wholly dedicated to our partners’ and customer’s success,” said Gretchen McCracken, GKG’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Partner. “I’m so proud that Sandy and the CIT/OCIO Employee Engagement Program Team are being recognized for going above and beyond to deliver excellence for NIH.”

Ms. Walter has worked with GKG since 2013. Her Human Resources and Organizational Development background spans decades and includes stints at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and NIH as a personnel officer. GKG is partnering with Guidehouse on the current work for CIT/OCIO.

“I have been supporting CIT/OCIO on employee engagement, training, and career development efforts for over three years. It has been a rewarding experience working with the Guidehouse team on these important efforts and I’m honored to receive this award,” said Ms.Walter.

GKG has supported NIH in multiple capacities since 2013. GKG provides human capital and organizational performance services for the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), where another one of its consultants has been recognized.
